Le Toux makes MLS XI
Former Sounder Sebastien Le Toux was named Tuesday to the Major League Soccer Best XI list, recognizing the top 11 players in the league. The Sounders were not represented on the list.
Le Toux was taken by the Philadelphia Union in the 2009 expansion draft when the Sounders left him unprotected,and started in the All-Star Game against Manchester United. He scored 14 goals and had 11 assists for the Union, the highest combined total in the league.
"It is a great award and I am very honored to have been selected," Le Toux said Tuesday. "I want to thank all my teammates and the coaching staff, as well as the fans, for their support all season long."
The forward, 26, also got the Xbox 360 Individual Fair Play Award.
